Ewan Whitehorn vs Ian Nguy

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Hands Arena, Chicago,  taking place on 11/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ewan Warhawk Whitehorn (1(1) - 0) who hails from Joliet, USA and Ian Nguy(9 - 11(2) - 2) from Memphis, USA.  Whitehorn weighed in at 199 pounds And 14 ounces, while Nguy weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Walls, and the three ringside judges are Joe Walls, Jack Fiddes and Lewis Williams.  

Round 1: 

Whitehorn steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Nguy almost instantly recovers. 
Whitehorn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn digs in a left hook to Nguy's body.  Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Whitehorn pushes his forearm into Nguy's face.  The ref breaks Whitehorn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Whitehorn walks his opponent into the corner.  Nguy throws a left hook, but Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Whitehorn steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Whitehorn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Whitehorn pushes his forearm into Nguy's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Whitehorn about fouling.  
Whitehorn drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Whitehorn pushes his forearm into Nguy's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Whitehorn.

Whitehorn closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Whitehorn lands a left hook.  
Whitehorn connects with a right hook.  
Whitehorn advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Nguy's ribs.  
Whitehorn lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whitehorn lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Whitehorn is looking to close the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Whitehorn steps inside.  Nguy throws a left hook, but Whitehorn ties up his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Whitehorn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Whitehorn lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS NGUY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Whitehorn is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Whitehorn lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Nguy has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nguy's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Nguy's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Whitehorn forces Nguy to retreat onto the ropes.  Whitehorn lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nguy almost instantly recovers. 
Whitehorn digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  Whitehorn holds on to his opponent.  Whitehorn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Whitehorn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nguy's kidney. The ref breaks Whitehorn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nguy tries to land a jab, but Whitehorn blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nguy pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nguy throws a left uppercut, but Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Whitehorn about fouling.  
Whitehorn steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Whitehorn closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Whitehorn thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Nguy away.  Whitehorn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS NGUY!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Nguy has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Whitehorn lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nguy behind the head. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Whitehorn to stop holding.  
Whitehorn is on target with a solid left uppercut to Nguy's body.  NGUY IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Whitehorn!
