Naoki Nonaka vs Jiro Yamashiro

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Osaka Kusumoto, Osaka,  taking place on 25/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naoki Nonaka (11 - 16 - 7) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Jiro Yamashiro(4 - 4(1) - 3) from Suita, Japan.  Both Nonaka and Yamashiro weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aoi Nishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Kyo Kuramoto, Jun Nakahara and Iwao Okuma.  

Round 1: 

Yamashiro closes the distance.  Yamashiro sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Nonaka tries to step out of his opponents range.  Yamashiro hits home with an overhand right.

Yamashiro drives a left hook into Nonaka's ribs.  
Yamashiro gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yamashiro drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Nonaka tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Yamashiro.  That has caused bad swelling  around the right eye.
