Larenzo Batres vs Cruz Matos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Santiago Ortiz Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 27/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Larenzo Batres (10 - 9 - 1) who hails from Chimalhuacan, Mexico and Cruz Matos(11 - 24(2) - 3) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Both Batres and Matos weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Borja, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Palencia, Lisandro Mancilla and Jose Saiz.

Batres steps inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Matos pivots to the left of his opponent.  Matos tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
