Se-jong Jon vs Yuichi Baba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Kyoto International Community House, Kyoto,  taking place on 13/11/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Se-jong Jon (7 - 1) who hails from Ansan, South Korea and Yuichi Baba(8 - 1) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Jon and Baba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naoki Kawasaki, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujimoto, Takeshi Shimizu and Kenji Fujimoto.  

Round 1: 

Jon hits home with a cross.  
Baba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Baba lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Jon steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Baba tries to tag Jon on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Baba connects with a right hook.
