Duncan Vannett vs Lee Bricken

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at North Shore Swanson, North Shore,  taking place on 29/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Vannett (6 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Lee Bricken(14 - 8(1) - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Vannett weighed in at 114 pounds And 5 ounces, while Bricken weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Seay, and the three ringside judges are Hamahona Kurawhatia, Paul Vaux and Will Galt.  

Round 1: 

Bricken gets on the inside.  Vannett tries to land a right hook, but Bricken parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Bricken connects with a firm right hook.

Bricken gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  Bricken holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Bricken pushes his forearm into Vannett's face.  The referee warns Bricken and breaks the clinch.  
Bricken pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Bricken quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Vannett dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Bricken lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vannett throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Vannett is on target with a cross.  
Bricken advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.
