Klaus Getting vs Martin McCardle

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at SkyDome Arena, Coventry,  taking place on 13/09/2041:

Clearly Top Shelf Prospects have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Klaus Getting (7(4) - 0) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Martin McCardle(21 - 9(3) - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Getting weighed in at 125 pounds And 14 ounces, while McCardle weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Biggs, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Moffit, Louis Atkins and David Monaghan.  

Round 1: 

Getting gets on the inside.  Getting pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  McCardle almost instantly recovers. 
Getting digs in a sharp left hook to McCardle's body.  
Getting drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Getting pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Getting digs in a solid right hook to McCardle's ribcage.  
Getting pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into McCardle's body.

Getting pivots to the right of his opponent.  Getting tries to land a jab, but McCardle dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Getting lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Getting quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Getting is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  Getting ties up his opponent.  Getting pushes his forearm into McCardle's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Getting about fouling.  
Getting sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Getting throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Getting contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  McCardle hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Getting steps inside.  McCardle lands a left hook.  
McCardle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Getting advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Getting closes the distance.  McCardle throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Getting pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Getting pivots to the side of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Getting is looking to close the distance.  Getting pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Getting digs in a solid right uppercut to McCardle's body.  
Getting is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Getting pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McCardle's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  McCardle's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McCardle's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Getting leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McCardle tries to tag Getting on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
McCardle is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  
McCardle pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Getting lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Getting closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Getting gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Getting is looking to force the stoppage!  Getting lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND MCCARDLE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like McCardle has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Getting drives a left hook into McCardle's ribs.  
Getting lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Getting lands a right hook.  
Getting lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MCCARDLE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Getting senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Getting lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING MCCARDLE TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Getting!
