Vicente Montalbo vs Santiago Civil

Boxing Daily Report from the Sucre Promotions promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 29/09/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Montalbo (5 - 7 - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Santiago Civil(3 - 1 - 2) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Montalbo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Civil weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Pedro Siman, and the three ringside judges are Dario Ramirez, Venacio Riquelme and Santiago Andrada.  

Round 1: 

Montalbo lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Civil lands a jab.
