Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Montel Atencio Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 17/11/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vidal Simon (9 - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Olindo Pilar(7 - 1 - 1) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Simon weighed in at 129 pounds and 7 ounces, while Pilar weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Lena, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Menendez, Diego Portilla and Hernan Orosco.
