Lucas Pinta vs Lee Cavanaugh

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SECC Hall, Glasgow,  taking place on 23/09/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lucas Pinta (1 - 0) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Lee Cavanaugh(2 - 7) from London, UK.  Both Pinta and Cavanaugh weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Priddy, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Menelaws, John McVicker and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Pinta drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  Pinta ties up his opponent.  Pinta pushes his forearm into Cavanaugh's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pinta sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pinta throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Pinta ties up his opponent.  Pinta tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cavanaugh's kidney. 
Pinta gets on the inside.  Cavanaugh throws a left uppercut, but Pinta holds on to his opponent.  Pinta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Pinta pushes his forearm into Cavanaugh's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pinta throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Pinta holds on to his opponent.  Pinta is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cavanaugh steps to the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Pinta forces Cavanaugh to back into a corner.  Pinta lands a left uppercut.  
Pinta lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Pinta holds on to his opponent.  Pinta uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cavanaugh behind the head. Cavanaugh quickly recovers. 
Pinta lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pinta clinches his opponent.  Pinta hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Pinta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  Cavanaugh quickly recovers.

Pinta digs in a right uppercut to Cavanaugh's ribs.  
Pinta is on target with a solid left uppercut to Cavanaugh's body.  
Pinta lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Pinta lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Pinta lands two left uppercuts followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pinta lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  Pinta clinches his opponent.  Pinta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Pinta pushes his forearm into Cavanaugh's face.  The ref breaks Pinta's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cavanaugh is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Pinta steps inside.  Pinta pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pinta manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Pinta is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pinta lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Pinta hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cavanaugh's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Pinta is looking to close the distance and forces Cavanaugh to back into a neutral corner.  Pinta pivots from in front of his opponent.  Pinta lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Pinta holds on to his opponent.  Pinta uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cavanaugh's kidney. Pinta leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Pinta pushes his forearm into Cavanaugh's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pinta about fouling.  
Pinta sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Pinta is on target with a left hook.  
Pinta pivots to the left of his opponent.  Cavanaugh throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Pinta is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Pinta lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cavanaugh almost instantly recovers. 
Pinta steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Cavanaugh almost instantly recovers. 
Pinta lands a right hook.  
Pinta feints a left hook, and then lands a right hook to the head, a jab to the head and a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS CAVANAUGH!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Pinta steps inside.  Cavanaugh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pinta lands a left uppercut.  
Pinta crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  CAVANAUGH WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Pinta knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Pinta whips in a nasty left hook to Cavanaugh's ribs.  CAVANAUGH IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Cavanaugh has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Pinta steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  Pinta clinches his opponent.  Pinta leans on his opponent using all his weight. Pinta uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cavanaugh behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pinta closes the distance and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Pinta pivots to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Pinta lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, KNOCKING CAVANAUGH DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Pinta!
