Alec Blackard vs John MacKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-North Carolina promoted show at Charlotte Hathorn, Charlotte,  taking place on 05/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alec Blackard (6 - 6(1)) who hails from Greensboro, USA and John MacKenzie(9 - 9(1) - 3) from Raleigh, USA.  Both Blackard and MacKenzie weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Atcheson, and the three ringside judges are Danny Egerton, Joel Richard and Richard Davies.
