Manfred Johner vs Luther Petri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Hesse promoted show at Aurik Heiserman Gym, Kassel,  taking place on 19/11/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manfred Johner (6 - 1(1) - 1) who hails from Bochum, Germany and Luther Petri(7 - 1) from Wiesbaden, Germany.  Both Johner and Petri weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elgar Gepner, and the three ringside judges are Thebault Dehnert, Niklas Pense and Koen Gehrmann.  

Round 1: 

Johner tries to keep the action at long range.  Petri hits home with a solid cross.  
Petri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Petri throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Petri clinches his opponent.  Petri tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Johner behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Johner throws a right uppercut, but Petri holds on to his opponent.  Petri pushes his forearm into Johner's face.  The referee warns Petri and breaks the clinch.  
Johner connects with a left hook.  
Petri cuts off the ring, trapping Johner in the red corner.  Petri hits home with a left uppercut.  
Petri gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Petri ties up his opponent.  Petri is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
