Michael Rabiu vs Waqas Azimi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Darko, Kumasi,  taking place on 07/10/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Rabiu (13 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Waqas Azimi(23 - 9 - 6 - 1(NC)) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Rabiu weighed in at 122 pounds, while Azimi weighed in at 122 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Siddiqi, and the three ringside judges are Andy Salawu, Haider Raad and Zuffur Abood.  

Round 1: 

Rabiu pivots to the right of his opponent.  Azimi throws a right uppercut, but misses the target.  Azimi holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Azimi pushes his forearm into Rabiu's face.  The referee warns Azimi and breaks the clinch.
