Derek Rautrau vs Lewes Malicki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Austria-Upper Austria promoted show at Armand Mantai Gym, Linz,  taking place on 03/12/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Austria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Derek Rautrau (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Linz, Austria and Lewes Malicki(8 - 0 - 1) from Vienna, Austria.  Both Rautrau and Malicki weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luki Veltheim, and the three ringside judges are Abbey Redecker, Meier Mamigon and Louis Tabermak.  

Round 1: 

Rautrau steps inside.  Rautrau quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Malicki connects with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Malicki.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Rautrau hits home with a cross.  
Rautrau sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rautrau attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Malicki time to recover.  
Malicki tries to keep the action at long range.  Rautrau lands a cross.  
Rautrau closes the distance.  Malicki digs in a right uppercut to Rautrau's ribs.  
Malicki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Malicki pivots to the right of his opponent.  Rautrau finds the target with a jab.
