Carlos Metro vs Diego Placido

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Gaytan, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 13/10/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Metro (23(6) - 3(2)) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Diego Placido(18 - 6 - 1) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Both Metro and Placido weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Manco, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Acosta, Luis Manzanares and Carlos Olivero.
