Reinald Du Jeu vs Lionel Maillard

Boxing Daily Report from the Kolektif Chans Puncher a promoted show at Port-au-Prince Cotillard, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 14/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Reinald Du Jeu (46(14) - 7(5)) who hails from Carrefour, Haiti and Lionel Maillard(10 - 21(3) - 2) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Both Du Jeu and Maillard weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guy Dewaere, and the three ringside judges are Canaan Beaudoin, Edmond Jacque and Vail Marot.  

Round 1: 

Du Jeu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Maillard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Maillard throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Maillard's body.  MAILLARD IS HURT!  Maillard almost instantly recovers.

Du Jeu steps to the outside and lands a mean cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MAILLARD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
