Ian Chiweshe vs Nabulung Poku

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo,  taking place on 26/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ian Chiweshe (11(5) - 0) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Nabulung Poku(25 - 15(8)) from Durban, South Africa.  Chiweshe weighed in at 175 pounds, while Poku weighed in at 175 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arran Zvirekwi, and the three ringside judges are Noah Chipendo, Jacob Chindungwe and Kyle Chatara.  

Round 1: 

Chiweshe is looking to close the distance.  Poku lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Chiweshe tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a spiteful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE POKU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Poku quickly recovers. 
Chiweshe lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Chiweshe closes the distance.  Poku tries to land a right hook, but Chiweshe blocks the shot and counters with a telling right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE POKU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Chiweshe tries to step out of his opponents range.  Chiweshe senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Poku and just needs the right shot.  Chiweshe lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS POKU SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Poku now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Chiweshe steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chiweshe drives a firm right hook into Poku's body.  
Chiweshe steps to the outside and connects with a BRUTAL cross.  POKU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Chiweshe steps away from his opponent and SLAMS a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  POKU HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Chiweshe!
