Joel Mulligan vs Nathan Pearce

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 02/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joel the Wedge Mulligan (1 - 0) who hails from Tulsa, USA and Nathan Pearce(11 - 16(10) - 1) from Mesa, USA.  Both Mulligan and Pearce weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Benitez, and the three ringside judges are Sam Dunkin, Zachary Salmond and Blake Travis.  

Round 1: 

Mulligan wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pearce dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mulligan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Pearce quickly recovers. 
Mulligan lands a hard jab.  
Mulligan closes the distance and manages to force Pearce into the corner.  Mulligan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Mulligan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Mulligan lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mulligan manouvers Pearce into the corner.  Mulligan is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mulligan pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mulligan lands a cross.  
Pearce gets on the inside.  Mulligan tries to land a left uppercut, but Pearce slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mulligan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mulligan is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  Mulligan ties up his opponent.  Mulligan pushes his forearm into Pearce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mulligan to stop fouling.  
Mulligan lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Mulligan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pearce gets on the inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Mulligan slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mulligan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Pearce throws a right hook, but Mulligan ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mulligan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mulligan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pearce throws a left hook, but Mulligan clinches his opponent.  Mulligan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pearce behind the head. 
Mulligan gets on the inside.  Mulligan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Mulligan lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pearce's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Pearce's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Pearce's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
