David Cooney vs Liam McFarlane

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 09/12/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Celtic Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Cú Chulainn Cooney (24(15) - 2(2)) who hails from Cork, Ireland and Liam McFarlane(13 - 1(1) - 2) from Bangor, UK.  Cooney weighed in at 117 pounds and 6 ounces, while McFarlane weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brett Rabbitt, and the three ringside judges are Shamus Quirke, Lee Donnell and Lee Beirne.
