Otieno Bayo vs Kieran Wanja

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Tarbei, Mombasa,  taking place on 16/10/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Otieno Bayo (15 - 12 - 4) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kieran Wanja(27 - 15(4) - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Bayo and Wanja weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Wanga, and the three ringside judges are Sam Yiampoy, Jay Matiku and Paul Kithuka.  

Round 1: 

Bayo lands a left hook.  
Wanja hits home with a cross.  
Wanja manouvers Bayo into the red corner.  Wanja feints a left hook, and then lands a left hook.  
Wanja gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wanja dabs at his face checking for damage.
