Edward Owen vs Jim MacCarthy

Boxing Daily Report from the Plunder Boxing promoted show at SECC Hall, Glasgow,  taking place on 04/11/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Premier Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Owen (18 - 12(3)) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Jim MacCarthy(6 - 12(2) - 3) from Aberdeen, UK.  Both Owen and MacCarthy weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Hall, and the three ringside judges are William Cooper, Peter Cullen and Hamish McBeth.
