Pekka Vatanen vs Carlos Alamillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 11/01/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Pekka Vatanen (33(28) - 1) who hails from Tampere, Finland and Carlos Alamillo(31(1) - 29(21)) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Vatanen and Alamillo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Nixon, and the three ringside judges are Callum Berry, Aaron Fillion and Clint Nicolls.

Vatanen gets on the inside.  Vatanen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Alamillo throws a left hook, but Vatanen ties up his opponent.  Vatanen leans on his opponent using all his weight. Vatanen pushes his forearm into Alamillo's face.  The ref breaks Vatanen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Vatanen gets on the inside.  Alamillo throws a left hook, but Vatanen holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Vatanen pushes his forearm into Alamillo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vatanen to stop fouling.  
Vatanen lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Vatanen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a stinging cross.

Vatanen steps inside.  Alamillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Vatanen connects with a right hook.

As Vatanen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alamillo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Vatanen steps away from his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vatanen's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Alamillo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Vatanen digs in a stinging left uppercut to Alamillo's body.  
Alamillo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Vatanen steps to the outside.  Alamillo feints a jab, but Vatanen does not fall for it and is on target with a firm right uppercut.
