Joey Buys vs Okapi Ametepey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 06/12/2021:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Buys (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Okapi Ametepey(9 - 0) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Both Buys and Ametepey weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tshepo Nqakula, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Motupa, Nwa Ntuli and Ontibile Nyauza.
