Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at US Airway Center, Phoenix,  taking place on 23/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Owen Wasson (16(10) - 0) who hails from Port St. Lucie, USA and Dave Dobbin(19 - 14(2) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Phoenix, USA.  Wasson weighed in at 160 pounds, while Dobbin weighed in at 159 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rex Kinzie, and the three ringside judges are Phil Sim, Callum Pareja and Joseph Mickle.  

Round 1: 

Wasson backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Dobbin throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wasson closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Wasson clinches his opponent.  Wasson pushes his forearm into Dobbin's face.  The referee warns Wasson and breaks the clinch.  
Wasson digs in a left uppercut to Dobbin's body.  Wasson clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dobbin throws a left hook, but Wasson clinches his opponent.  Wasson tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dobbin's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dobbin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wasson drives a right hook into Dobbin's ribs.  
Dobbin steps away from his opponent.  Wasson lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
Wasson lands with a spiteful jab.  
Dobbin pivots to the side of his opponent.  Wasson lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Dobbin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dobbin steps away from his opponent.  Wasson lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Wasson steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Wasson clinches his opponent.  Wasson uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Dobbin's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wasson lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Dobbin steps away from his opponent.  Wasson lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Wasson strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Wasson hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Wasson steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Wasson lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Dobbin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wasson digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Wasson is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Wasson lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dobbin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Wasson connects with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dobbin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Wasson steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Wasson holds on to his opponent.  Wasson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wasson lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Wasson lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Wasson closes the distance.  Dobbin pivots to the side of his opponent.  Dobbin is on target with a right uppercut.  Wasson holds on to his opponent.  Wasson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wasson about fouling.  
Dobbin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wasson hits home with a cross.  
Wasson advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Dobbin almost instantly recovers. 
Dobbin pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Wasson connects with a firm cross.  
Wasson lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Wasson closes the distance.  Dobbin attempts to land a right hook, but Wasson blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Dobbin throws a left hook, but Wasson clinches his opponent.  Wasson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dobbin steps away from his opponent.  Wasson lands a ramrod jab.  
Wasson is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Wasson is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.  
Wasson gets on the inside and connects with a HUGE right hook.  DOBBIN IS HURT!  Dobbin quickly recovers. 
Dobbin throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Wasson closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dobbin tries to keep the action at long range.  Wasson lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Dobbin switches the action to the outside and throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Wasson time to recover.  
Dobbin attempts to land a left hook, but Wasson parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dobbin steps away from his opponent.  Wasson lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Wasson advances into close range and connects with a solid right hook.  
Wasson drives a right hook into Dobbin's ribs.  
Dobbin attempts to land a jab, but Wasson sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Wasson digs in a sharp left hook to Dobbin's body.  
Wasson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Wasson holds on to his opponent.  Wasson uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Dobbin behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wasson to stop holding.

Wasson steps to the outside.  Wasson thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Dobbin away.  Wasson lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS DOBBIN DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Wasson!
