Ponce Mejias vs Rodrigo Mezo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Hinojosa, Guayaquil,  taking place on 03/12/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ponce Mejias (8 - 0 - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Rodrigo Mezo(5 - 1 - 1) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Both Mejias and Mezo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ramirez, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Siman, Venacio Riquelme and Angel Chavana.
