Marques Kabubu vs Naeem Makasa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Trory Badat Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 14/12/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marques Kabubu (7 - 1) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Naeem Makasa(6 - 1) from Ndola, Zambia.  Both Kabubu and Makasa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tavon Muyunda, and the three ringside judges are Jasper Munda, Kaleb Mukwena and Kwamin Ilunga.
