Yasushi Shibata vs Kaede Iwasaki

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan’s Boxing promoted show at Shinji Sugimoto Gym, Nagoya,  taking place on 26/10/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Aichi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Shibata (3 - 7) who hails from Okazaki, Japan and Kaede Iwasaki(8 - 17(1) - 2) from Nagoya, Japan.  Shibata weighed in at 200 pounds, while Iwasaki weighed in at 200 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Iwasaki came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Yuichi Kodama, Mitsuru Yoshikawa and Satoshi Mochizuki.  

Round 1: 

Shibata digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Iwasaki pivots from in front of his opponent.  Iwasaki tries to land a cross, but Shibata sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Iwasaki gets on the inside and walks Shibata onto the ropes.  Iwasaki quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Shibata pivots to the right of his opponent.  Iwasaki wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shibata dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shibata's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Iwasaki's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Shibata tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Iwasaki closes the distance.  Shibata drives a left hook into Iwasaki's ribs.  
Shibata steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Shibata is looking to keep his distance.  Iwasaki feints a right hook, and then connects with an overhand right.  
Shibata drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Iwasaki is on target with a cross.  
Shibata quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.
