Myrl Geckler vs Ghislain Kugel

Boxing Daily Report from the Punch Drunk Promotions promoted show at Punch Gym, Dortmund,  taking place on 24/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Myrl Geckler (3(3) - 0) who hails from Hamburg, Germany and Ghislain Kugel(1 - 0) from Augsburg, Germany.  Geckler weighed in at 200 pounds, while Kugel weighed in at 199 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Spangler Samberg, and the three ringside judges are Tibalt Hemmelgarn, Ramond Matern and Garrison Henninger.  

Round 1: 

Geckler advances into close range.  Geckler sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Geckler lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Geckler ties up his opponent.  Geckler pushes his forearm into Kugel's face.  The referee warns Geckler and breaks the clinch.  
Geckler throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Geckler clinches his opponent.  Geckler uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kugel's kidney. 
Geckler walks Kugel down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Geckler lands a left hook.  Geckler clinches his opponent.  Geckler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Geckler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Geckler hits home with a solid left hook.  
Geckler lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Geckler lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Kugel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Geckler lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Geckler lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Geckler manages to force Kugel into a corner.  Geckler hits home with a left hook.  Geckler holds on to his opponent.  Geckler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Geckler tries to land a left hook, but Kugel parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kugel dabs at his face checking for damage.

Geckler manages to force Kugel into a corner.  Geckler lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Geckler sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Geckler connects with a firm right hook.  Geckler holds on to his opponent.  Geckler leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Geckler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Geckler throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Geckler holds on to his opponent.  Geckler leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Geckler is on target with a forceful left hook to Kugel's body.  KUGEL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kugel almost instantly recovers. 
Geckler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Geckler lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Geckler lands a firm left uppercut.  
Geckler steps inside and digs in a left hook to Kugel's body.

Geckler lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Geckler walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Geckler pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a telling right uppercut to Kugel's body.  KUGEL IS HURT!  
Geckler senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kugel and just needs the right shot.  Geckler whips in a nasty right uppercut to Kugel's body.  KUGEL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Kugel has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Geckler lands a firm left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kugel.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Geckler lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Geckler is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Geckler lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES KUGEL!  He manages to get up at 7.  Kugel now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Geckler steps inside and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Geckler lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS KUGEL TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Kugel the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Geckler!
