Boxing Daily Report from the Ognjen promoted show at Kezar Pavilion, San Francisco,  taking place on 09/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ignado Blas (14(14) - 0) who hails from Masaya, Nicaragua and James Grant(11 - 24(3) - 3) from Chula Vista, USA.  Blas weighed in at 126 pounds, while Grant weighed in at 125 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Ness, and the three ringside judges are Mike Amores, Peter Ronald and Gareth Downey.  

Round 1: 

Blas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Blas is on target with a jab.  
Blas tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Blas advances into close range.  Grant throws a right hook, but Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Blas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Grant attempts to land a jab, but Blas slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Blas finds the target with a jab.  
Blas lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Blas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Grant throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Blas is on target with a right hook to Grant's ribcage.  
Blas steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Blas connects with a cross.  
Grant is on target with a right uppercut.  
Blas tries to step out of his opponents range and snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Blas is on target with a solid cross to Grant's body.  
Blas hits home with a cross.  
Blas steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Grant is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Blas stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Grant throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Grant's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Grant's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Grant's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Blas lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Grant recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Blas advances into close range.  Grant throws a right hook, but Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Blas about fouling.  
Blas is on target with a solid jab.  
Blas gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Grant behind the head. The ref breaks Blas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blas lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Blas is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Blas lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Blas lands a stiff jab.  
Blas lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Blas closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS GRANT TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Blas holds on to his opponent.  Blas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Grant behind the head. 
Blas senses Grant is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Blas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS GRANT TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Grant now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Blas lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Blas lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Grant almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Blas is on target with a cross.  
Blas lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Grant quickly recovers. 
Blas stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Grant attempts to land an overhand right, but Blas blocks the shot and counters with a big right uppercut.  GRANT IS HURT!  Grant recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blas lands an overhand left.  
Blas lands a straight 1 - 2, AND DOWN GOES GRANT!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Grant cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blas!
