Gianluigi Matri vs Savio Leonetti

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Piedmont promoted show at Biira Gym, Turin,  taking place on 29/10/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Piedmont Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianluigi Matri (37(3) - 13(2)) who hails from Turin, Italy and Savio Leonetti(5 - 6 - 2) from Turin, Italy.  Both Matri and Leonetti weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rocco Mazzocchi, and the three ringside judges are Nico Destro, Fausto Segre and Savio Serantoni.  

Round 1: 

Leonetti is looking to close the distance.  Matri pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Matri switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Matri tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Leonetti manages to force Matri onto the ropes.  Leonetti is starting to lose his temper here.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!
