Lordson Salihu vs Nicholas Idigbe

Boxing Daily Report from the Adumensa Promotions promoted show at Gareth Babayaro Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 31/10/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lordson Salihu (16 - 3 - 3) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Nicholas Idigbe(5 - 18 - 5) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Salihu weighed in at 239 pounds And 15 ounces, while Idigbe weighed in at 227 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Syed Hariri, and the three ringside judges are Shehu Akande, Cody Aderemi and Theophilus Aliu.  

Round 1: 

Salihu tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.  
Idigbe advances into close range.  Salihu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Salihu tries to land a left uppercut, but Idigbe sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
