Nao Kanai vs Hikaru Shimoda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Shizuoka promoted show at Hamamatsu Osada, Hamamatsu,  taking place on 02/11/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nao Kanai (13(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Hikaru Shimoda(14 - 1) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Kanai weighed in at 140 pounds, while Shimoda weighed in at 139 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kei Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Aki Ogata, Fumio Hirano and Akira Sanda.
