Pylyp Pavlik vs Yakiv Kovalenko

Boxing Daily Report from the Hagopyan Promotions promoted show at Yakiv Bayuk Gym, Donetsk,  taking place on 03/11/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Donetsk Oblast Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pylyp Pavlik (7 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Mariupol, Ukraine and Yakiv Kovalenko(5 - 17 - 2) from Donetsk, Ukraine.  Pavlik weighed in at 201 pounds and 3 ounces, while Kovalenko weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Pavlik came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Faddei Orel, and the three ringside judges are Nikolai Urban, Oleksander Soroko and Afon Danko.  

Round 1: 

Kovalenko throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Pavlik steps inside.  Kovalenko throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Kovalenko's body.

Pavlik gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Pavlik lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Kovalenko lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kovalenko dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kovalenko.  That has caused a slight cut in the corner of.
