Nick Crofoot vs Mike Whitson

Boxing Daily Report from the Shreveport Indicolites promoted show at Kessels Gym, Shreveport,  taking place on 06/11/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Crofoot (22(9) - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Louisville, USA and Mike Whitson(9 - 5(1)) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Crofoot and Whitson weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Euan Younie, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Parro, Arthur Tran and George Mattison.
