Brendan McVean vs Mark Meints

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Lee & Helene Sapp Fieldhouse, Omaha,  taking place on 25/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan McVean (21(10) - 4(1)) who hails from Lincoln, USA and Mark Meints(13 - 14(2) - 2) from Kansas City, USA.  Both McVean and Meints weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kris Clingan, and the three ringside judges are Jasper McClory, Arran Fyfe and Lucas Doyle.  

Round 1: 

McVean is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
McVean advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  McVean holds on to his opponent.  McVean pushes his forearm into Meints's face.
