Bob Mutasa vs Tefu Sikali

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 10/11/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bob Mutasa (41(34) - 21(14) - 2) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Tefu Sikali(22 - 16(11)) from Soweto, South Africa.  Mutasa weighed in at 140 pounds, while Sikali weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Khumalo, and the three ringside judges are Dorus Steenkamp, Barry Khuzwayo and Kyrone Letsholonyane.  

Round 1: 

Mutasa pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Mutasa goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Sikali's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mutasa is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mutasa lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Sikali lands an overhand right.  Sikali attempts to land a cross, but Mutasa slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mutasa lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Mutasa lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mutasa steps to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Mutasa switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

The right shot from Mutasa could be enough to force the stoppage!  Mutasa lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS SIKALI TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  It looks like Sikali has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Mutasa lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SIKALI IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Sikali now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Mutasa switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!

Mutasa lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head, KNOCKING SIKALI DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Sikali is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Mutasa!
