Konstantin Gura vs Nursharaf Barakat

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Galway Sportsgrounds, Galway,  taking place on 16/11/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are KING KONG Konstantin Gura (9(7) - 0) who hails from Minsk, Belarus and Nursharaf Barakat(28 - 15(3) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Gura and Barakat weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Byrnes, and the three ringside judges are Ian Doyle, Paul Mahoney and Ross Fitzgerald.  

Round 1: 

Gura advances into close range and connects with a solid left hook.  
Gura manouvers Barakat onto the ropes.  Gura throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Gura ties up his opponent.  Gura leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Barakat is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Barakat and breaks the clinch.  
Gura is on target with a solid left hook to Barakat's body.  
Gura pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to Barakat's body.  
Gura steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Gura pivots to the right of his opponent.  Barakat drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Gura advances into close range.  Barakat tries to land a left uppercut, but Gura blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barakat is on target with a jab.  
Gura lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gura walks Barakat down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gura lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Barakat almost instantly recovers. 
Gura advances into close range.  Gura pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Gura steps inside.  Barakat sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gura lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gura is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Gura steps inside.  Gura pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gura lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Barakat recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Gura closes the distance.  Gura pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Gura gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barakat dabs at his face checking for damage.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barakat's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Barakat's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Gura closes the distance.  Barakat sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gura lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  As Gura tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barakat dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gura lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gura steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Barakat on the ropes.  Gura whips in a nasty left hook to Barakat's body.  BARAKAT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Gura pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Barakat's body.  
Gura lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barakat recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gura lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gura lands with a sharp jab.  Gura tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gura steps inside.  Gura pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Gura is looking to close the distance and whips in a spiteful right hook to Barakat's ribcage.  BARAKAT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barakat recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gura steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Barakat is whaling away with hooks, but Gura keeps his defence tight.  Barakat throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Gura's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Barakat quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Barakat throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Gura connects with a left hook.  
Gura gets on the inside.  Barakat tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barakat tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gura steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Gura ties up his opponent.  Gura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gura.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Barakat's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Barakat's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
