Dave Hughson vs Ryo Canchola

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Sofi Stadium, Los Angeles,  taking place on 08/02/2042:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Smooth Dave Hughson (77(61) - 2(2) - 1) who hails from Oakland, USA and Ryo Canchola(33 - 33(12) - 6 - 1(NC)) from Valencia, Venezuela.  Both Hughson and Canchola weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Amores, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salido, William Shawn and Lewis Suttie.  

Round 1: 

Hughson drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Canchola cuts off the ring, trapping Hughson on the ropes.  Hughson lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Hughson holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hughson pushes his forearm into Canchola's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hughson.  Hughson throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Hughson feints a jab, fooling Canchola into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Hughson springs the trap and counters with  a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.

Canchola sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Canchola tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.

Canchola closes the distance.  Hughson connects with a stinging right hook.  
Hughson steps away from his opponent.  Canchola lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Canchola tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  Canchola tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Canchola's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Canchola's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
