Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Nairobi City Stadium, Nairobi,  taking place on 14/12/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Geoff The Lion Simiyu (13(9) - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Verlyn Watiyakeni(52(24) - 14(4) - 2) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Both Simiyu and Watiyakeni weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Lumumba, Billy Tumbo and Kashif Haque.
