Dayaram Wali vs Vinay Bassi

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at The Blue Frog, Mumbai,  taking place on 15/11/2041:

Clearly Top Shelf Prospects have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dayaram Wali (8(5) - 0) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Vinay Bassi(10 - 12(1) - 4) from Jodhpur, India.  Wali weighed in at 175 pounds, while Bassi weighed in at 175 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ananta Goswami, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Hares, Premnath Arya and Jasvinder Kapoor.  

Round 1: 

Wali lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wali closes the distance.  Bassi throws a left hook, but Wali holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Wali pushes his forearm into Bassi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wali to stop fouling.  
Bassi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wali lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Wali steps inside and digs in a stinging right hook to Bassi's body.  Wali holds on to his opponent.  Wali leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bassi attempts to land a jab, but Wali sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Wali is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to Bassi's body.  Wali ties up his opponent.  Wali leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wali's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wali lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Wali steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Bassi's ribcage.  
Wali steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Wali ties up his opponent.  Wali uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bassi behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wali about fouling.  
Wali lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Wali lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Wali digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Bassi tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Bassi's body.  
Wali steps inside and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wali ties up his opponent.  Wali leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wali advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wali drives a sharp left hook into Bassi's ribs.  
Wali is on target with a solid left hook.  
Wali steps inside and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Wali holds on to his opponent.  Wali is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bassi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Bassi's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Wali gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Wali manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Wali lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Wali lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wali lands a sharp right hook.  
Wali is on target with a sharp right hook to Bassi's body.  
Wali lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Wali is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Wali lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND DROPS BASSI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Bassi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Wali quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Wali is on target with a potent left hook to Bassi's body.  BASSI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Wali!
