Paul Blaney vs Mark Stockard

Boxing Daily Report from the GOAT Promotions promoted show at PTS Showclub, Denver,  taking place on 06/12/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Blaney (12 - 10(2) - 8) who hails from Aurora, USA and Mark Stockard(15 - 14(5) - 1) from Aurora, USA.  Both Blaney and Stockard weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Alen Greenlaw, Oliver Peavey and David Bonner.  

Round 1: 

Stockard is looking to close the distance.  Blaney retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Stockard tries to tag Blaney on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Stockard connects with a left hook.
