Otieno Methema vs Leon Matonga

Boxing Daily Report from the Skebenga Corp promoted show at Harare Sports Club, Harare,  taking place on 07/12/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Zimbabwe Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Otieno Methema (40(26) - 5(1)) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Leon Matonga(12(2) - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Methema and Matonga weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Nengomasha, and the three ringside judges are Bradley Masunda, Michael Chipeta and Rex Chiweshe.  

Round 1: 

Matonga finds the target with a jab.  
Methema advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Matonga digs in a left uppercut to Methema's liver.  
Methema pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Methema is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Methema tries to land a left hook, but Matonga slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Methema tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Methema lands a hard jab.  
Methema gets on the inside.  Matonga pivots to the side of his opponent.  Matonga connects with a right hook.  Matonga attempts to land a right uppercut, but Methema blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Matonga's body.  
Methema lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Methema steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Matonga almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Matonga hits home with a stiff jab.  
Methema advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Matonga's body.  
Matonga is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Methema slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Methema connects with a cross.  
Methema sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Methema senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Methema lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING MATONGA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Matonga has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Methema advances into close range.  Matonga pivots from in front of his opponent.  Matonga attempts to land a left hook, but Methema blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Methema lands a hard jab.  
Matonga is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Methema gets on the inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Matonga lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Methema throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  Methema clinches his opponent.  Matonga is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Matonga to stop fouling.  
Methema closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Matonga blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Matonga tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a ramrod jab.  
Methema drives a firm left hook into Matonga's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Methema's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Matonga's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Matonga tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Matonga attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Methema's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Methema lands a spiteful jab.  Methema attempts to land a jab, but Matonga dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Methema gets on the inside and is on target with a right uppercut to Matonga's body.  
Methema SLAMS a hurtful right uppercut into his opponents face.  MATONGA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Matonga could be stopped here, if Methema can find the right shot!  Methema lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head, AND DROPS MATONGA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Matonga has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Methema lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Methema attempts to land a left hook, but Matonga blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Matonga hits home with a cross.  
Methema gets on the inside.  Matonga attempts to land a left hook, but Methema slips the shot and counters with a mean cross.  MATONGA IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Methema!
