Ian Kettles vs Kenzie Brent

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alaska promoted show at Anchorage Kelton, Anchorage,  taking place on 07/12/2041:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Kettles (27(3) - 10(2) - 3) who hails from Fort Collins, USA and Kenzie Brent(5 - 7 - 1) from Anchorage, USA.  Kettles weighed in at 147 pounds, while Brent weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Blair, and the three ringside judges are Felix Campbell, Bryan Hindman and Joe Routledge.  

Round 1: 

Kettles digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Brent lands a cross.  
Kettles pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kettles lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Kettles hits home with a left uppercut.

Kettles lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kettles lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kettles is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.

Kettles steps inside.  Kettles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Kettles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Brent's body.  
Kettles lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Kettles closes the distance.  Kettles senses Brent is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Kettles lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING BRENT DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Brent has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kettles pivots to the left of his opponent.  Brent attempts to land a jab, but Kettles slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kettles feints a cross, and then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Brent's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Brent's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Brent's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kettles is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Kettles ties up his opponent.  Kettles is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kettles steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kettles contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Brent throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kettles advances into close range.  Kettles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Kettles lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Brent quickly recovers. 
Kettles closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kettles lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kettles lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Kettles holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kettles pushes his forearm into Brent's face.  The referee warns Kettles and breaks the clinch.  
Kettles lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BRENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Kettles throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kettles sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Brent's body.  
Kettles lands a stiff jab.  
Kettles digs in a firm right hook to Brent's body.  
Kettles lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Kettles is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kettles holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Brent throws a right hook, but Kettles holds on to his opponent.  Kettles tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Brent's kidney. Kettles is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kettles manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Kettles lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Brent backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Kettles tries to tag Brent on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Kettles is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kettles gets on the inside.  Brent throws a left hook, but Kettles clinches his opponent.  Kettles leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Kettles pushes his forearm into Brent's face.  The referee warns Kettles and breaks the clinch.
