Danijel Brusic vs Ross Carlin

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at HONEYPUNCH Gym, Oxford,  taking place on 29/11/2041:

Clearly HONEYPUNCH have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Danijel Brusic (0 - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Ross Carlin(15 - 14(4) - 4) from Brest, France.  Both Brusic and Carlin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Dalton, and the three ringside judges are John Zakaszewski, Harry Mullins and Lucas McSorley.  

Round 1: 

Carlin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Brusic lands a hurtful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE CARLIN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Carlin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Brusic is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Brusic lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Carlin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Brusic forces Carlin to retreat into the blue corner.  Brusic pivots to the left of his opponent.  Carlin throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Brusic is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a solid cross.  
Brusic is looking to close the distance.  Brusic pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Brusic pivots to the right of his opponent.  Brusic lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Brusic holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Brusic pushes his forearm into Carlin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Brusic is looking to force the stoppage!  Brusic slams a nasty right uppercut into Carlin's body.  CARLIN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Carlin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Brusic lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Brusic clinches his opponent.  Brusic is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Brusic.  
Brusic walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Brusic lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Brusic holds on to his opponent.  Brusic hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Brusic to stop fouling.  
Carlin is on target with a cross.  
Brusic steps inside.  Brusic sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Brusic lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Brusic lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Brusic pivots from in front of his opponent.  Brusic lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Brusic clinches his opponent.  Brusic is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Brusic tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carlin behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Brusic to stop fouling.

Brusic is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Brusic quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
Brusic closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  CARLIN IS HURT!  
Brusic is looking to force the stoppage!  Brusic is on target with a powerful right uppercut to his opponents body.  CARLIN IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Carlin now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Carlin is looking to close the distance.  Brusic lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Brusic tries to land a right hook, but Carlin blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Brusic closes the distance.  Carlin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Carlin throws a right uppercut, but Brusic clinches his opponent.  Brusic leans on his opponent using all his weight. Brusic tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Carlin's kidney. 
Brusic advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Brusic is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Brusic snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Brusic closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.
