Lorenzo Miera vs Carlos Alejos

Boxing Daily Report from the Bautista López promoted show at Buenos Aires Matos, Buenos Aires,  taking place on 18/12/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Buenos Aires Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lorenzo Miera (10 - 25(1) - 7) who hails from Mar del Plata, Argentina and Carlos Alejos(5 - 22 - 5) from La Plata, Argentina.  Miera weighed in at 140 pounds, while Alejos weighed in at 139 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marco Bellon, and the three ringside judges are Angel Cedeno, Pedro Lugo and Leonardo Armenteros.  

Round 1: 

Miera throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Alejos time to recover.  
Miera closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Alejos has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
