Sammy Bondi vs Lee Yazijyan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-South Australia promoted show at Adelaide Nessmith, Adelaide,  taking place on 17/12/2041:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-South Australia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sammy Bondi (18 - 20(4) - 2) who hails from Adelaide, Australia and Lee Yazijyan(1 - 0) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Bondi and Yazijyan weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Valerio Grillini, and the three ringside judges are Zach Drummond, Daniel Guffy and Steven Kavanah.  

Round 1: 

Yazijyan steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Yazijyan lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Yazijyan steps inside and digs in a firm left hook to Bondi's body.  
Yazijyan pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yazijyan closes the distance.  Yazijyan pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Bondi tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Yazijyan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS BONDI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Bondi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yazijyan pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Yazijyan is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Yazijyan advances into close range.  Yazijyan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Bondi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yazijyan manouvers Bondi into the red corner.  Yazijyan drives a stinging right hook into Bondi's ribs.  
Yazijyan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Bondi now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bondi's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Bondi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Yazijyan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bondi lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Yazijyan is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Yazijyan pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a right hook into Bondi's body.  
Yazijyan steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Yazijyan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bondi throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Yazijyan gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Bondi's body.  
Yazijyan is looking to keep his distance.  Bondi is on target with a cross.  Bondi tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Bondi is on target with a jab.  
Yazijyan lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Yazijyan is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Bondi hits home with a left hook.  
Yazijyan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Yazijyan walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yazijyan lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Bondi wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Yazijyan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Yazijyan lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bondi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Yazijyan closes the distance.  Yazijyan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Yazijyan is looking to keep his distance.  Yazijyan knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Yazijyan lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BONDI TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Bondi is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Yazijyan!
