Xaverius Cassis vs Rodrigo Horta

Boxing Daily Report from the Ebrahimyan Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Verdugo Gym, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 17/12/2041:

Clearly Ebrahimyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaverius Cassis (11 - 34(1) - 9) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Rodrigo Horta(5(2) - 0) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Cassis weighed in at 153 pounds And 11 ounces, while Horta weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Gonsales, and the three ringside judges are Juan Parada, Carlos Grego and Juan Parada.  

Round 1: 

Horta advances into close range and drives a left hook into Cassis's body.

Horta lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Horta drives a firm left hook into Cassis's ribs.  
Horta advances into close range.  Cassis sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Horta digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Horta lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Horta lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Horta closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Horta holds on to his opponent.  Horta pushes his forearm into Cassis's face.  The ref breaks Horta's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Cassis throws a right uppercut, but Horta holds on to his opponent.  Horta leans on his opponent using all his weight. Horta uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Cassis's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cassis's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Cassis quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Horta lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Horta gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Cassis steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Horta could be enough to finish Cassis!  Horta whips in a hurtful left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES CASSIS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Horta steps inside.  Horta slams a nasty left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  DOWN GOES CASSIS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Horta senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Horta lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  It looks like Cassis has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Horta drives a sharp right hook into Cassis's body.  Horta ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cassis is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right.  
Horta is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Horta closes the distance and walks Cassis down, trapping him in the corner.  Horta lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, DROPPING CASSIS TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Cassis can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Horta!
