Peter Potts vs Brendan Preddy

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 01/02/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Super Channel, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Potts (26(15) - 7(2) - 3) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Brendan Preddy(28(10) - 2(2)) from Edmonton, Canada.  Both Potts and Preddy weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Gillespie, and the three ringside judges are Aramis Duvauchelle, Aramis Duvauchelle and Gower Paille.
