Leon Cary vs Barry Page

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at O2 Academy, Newcastle,  taking place on 12/12/2041:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leon Cary (1(1) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Barry Page(8 - 9(2) - 1) from Cardiff, UK.  Cary weighed in at 225 pounds and 10 ounces, while Page weighed in at 241 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mick MacNaughton, and the three ringside judges are David Duffy, Steven Kilduff and Michael Munhall.  

Round 1: 

Cary gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Cary lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Cary clinches his opponent.  Cary pushes his forearm into Page's face.  The ref breaks Cary's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cary lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Cary clinches his opponent.  Cary pushes his forearm into Page's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cary.  
Cary forces Page to back into the red corner.  Cary lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cary digs in a right hook to Page's body.  Cary clinches his opponent.  Cary uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Page behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cary gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cary pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cary walks Page onto the ropes.  Cary lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Cary thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Page away.  Cary is on target with a telling right hook to his opponents body.  PAGE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Page has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Cary digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Cary gets on the inside.  Cary sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Cary pivots to the side of his opponent.  Page throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Cary ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Page's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Page's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Page's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Page's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Cary lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Cary quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Page lands a jab.  
Cary feints a left hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Cary hits home with a left uppercut.  
Cary steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Cary lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cary forces Page to retreat onto the ropes.  Cary lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND DROPS PAGE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Cary knows Page is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Cary lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND KNOCKS PAGE DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Page now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Cary gets on the inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Cary lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cary lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Cary walks Page down, trapping him in a corner.  Cary drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Cary pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Page's liver.  
Cary lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Page recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
