John Galaz vs Louis Finlayson

Boxing Daily Report from the Granite Chin Promotions promoted show at MSG Theater, New York City,  taking place on 13/01/2042:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Mid Atlantic Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Galaz (39(24) - 1) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Louis Finlayson(23(1) - 7(1) - 3) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Galaz and Finlayson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Misserville, and the three ringside judges are Gianni Cossutta, Michael Perry and James Meredith.  

Round 1: 

Galaz steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Finlayson sidesteps and counters with a cross.
