Aaron Ferris vs Ross McClintick

Boxing Daily Report from the Iain Llewellyn promoted show at Moxy Dublin City, Dublin,  taking place on 29/12/2041:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Ferris (8(1) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ross McClintick(1 - 3(1)) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both Ferris and McClintick weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Finnin, and the three ringside judges are Eoin McCadden, Roy Spalding and Will Nolan.  

Round 1: 

Ferris lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ferris holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ferris pushes his forearm into McClintick's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ferris about fouling.  
Ferris attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives McClintick time to recover.  
Ferris is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Ferris holds on to his opponent.  Ferris is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ferris digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Ferris holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McClintick pushes his forearm into Ferris's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ferris is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
